We are deeply saddened by the disaster in Lebanon’s capital of Beirut, Tuesday August 4th 2020. The sudden losses of life and significant destruction in Beirut during what have been already turbulent times lately is particularly distressing. We pay condolences to the families of the lives tragically lost today and wish a full recovery to all those injured. 

When disaster strikes, the Lebanese Red Cross, with its expertise & patriotic spirit offers its assistance & humanitarian aid in these incredibly trying times. The mission of the Lebanese Red Cross is to promote peace, serve society, and alleviate human suffering with complete neutrality without any racial, sexual, social, religious or political prejudice.
