19th Century Staffordshire Whieldon Glaze Tea Pot
$1,100.00
Antique English Staffordshire Miniature Teapot. An exquisite example of 19th Century Agate Ware. Teapots of such size date from this period where each person was given his or her own pot. Attributed to Thomas Whieldon. It’s rich deep earthy tones reflect the 200 years of Patina it radiates. A few tiny nicks along the rim and spout consistent with its age, yet still fully functional and luminous. A true Museum Quality Collector’s piece.
